Jacob & Co. Astronomia Tourbillon
Today's Haute Chronograph mens replica watch caused quite a stir at Baselworld 2014, and it was Jacob & Co's Astonomia Tourbillon.
The movement of the Astronomia Tourbillon is breathtaking, featuring a merry-go-round with four arms displaying the hours and minutes, and on the other arm, a full-carat pear-cut diamond representing the Moon and a white gold globe. The beautiful blue enamel on the dial represents the ocean, and of course the three-axis tourbillon. This intricate collage of moving models rotates on its axis every five minutes, while the tourbillon rotates every sixty seconds and the tourbillon rotates on its central axis every 20 minutes – stunning.
The case of the Astronomia Tourbillon measures 47mm and is crafted in 18k rose gold. The thickness of the timepiece is 18 mm, which includes the protective dome that surrounds the movement and moving parts. The dome is made of diamond-grained polycarbonate, making this timepiece fully wear-resistant and durable enough to protect the rotating parts on the dial. The 'out of this world' dial is hand-engraved with lacquered hour-markers, diamond finishing and polished blued hands.buying replica watch
At the heart of the Astonomia Tourbillon is the exclusive hand-wound Jacob & Co. JCEM01 caliber with a 72-hour power reserve.
The Astronomia Tourbillon is the stunning addition to the new Jacob & Co collection, with a black alligator leather strap and 18k rose gold deployant clasp.
Jacob & Co. Astronomia Tourbillon Watch
The Earth and Moon are printed on the dial of the Astronomia Tourbillon by Jacob & Co. in collaboration with Studio 7H38. It's an amazing piece of work, even the pictures don't quite do it justice.JACOB & CO ASTRONOMIA ART DRAGON
The watch comes in a 47mm 18K red gold case with a unique 3D dial. In the center of the dark blue aventurine dial is a four-armed carriage with the tourbillon, balance, earth and moon at the ends of the arms. The carrier turns its four arms around the dial in 20-minute rotations. The tourbillon, balance wheel, earth and moon also all rotate on their own axes.
Hours and minutes are displayed on the tourbillon with Roman numerals integrated into the tourbillon cage. The Earth is represented by a white gold sphere adorned with dark blue Grand Feu enamel, while the Moon is represented by a pear-cut diamond.
The dial is encased in a large domed sapphire crystal.
