One of the things our customers say to us quite frequently is that they would like to drink more loose leaf tea but they don’t know how to. And I promise you, it’s genuinely easy!
Tips for better tea:
I like to warm the pot because I find that it wakens the tea. A cold vessel will reduce the temperature of the water pouring in. We want it to stay hot!
Steep for a minimum of 3 minutes or up to 5 minutes. Don’t leave the tea leaves in the water or it will become very bitter.
For Indian teas, I steep only once. I do go up to 3 to 5 times for Chinese teas.
